{"id":2272,"date":"2019-01-29T16:08:32","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T00:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gii-usa.org\/lax\/?p=2272"},"modified":"2019-01-29T20:19:58","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T04:19:58","slug":"target-5000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gii-usa.org\/lax\/target-5000\/","title":{"rendered":"Target 5000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"230\" height=\"223\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gii-usa.org\/lax\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/01\/target5000.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2278\" \/><br \/>\nThis year five of our West Coast Churches have the same theme \u201cBE A WITNESS FOR CHRIST\u201d as our mission to share the Gospel to 5000 people to exercise our church vision which is TO REACH OUT OUR COMMUNITY TO REACH THE WORLD in order to fulfill the commission of Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8:\u201d  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.\u201d We are charged by Jesus to be a witness for Him from Jerusalem (our own city) to Judea (our states), to Samaria (our country) and the whole world.<br \/>\nHow will we as the IEC\u2019s altogether to accomplish this target? Locally, we encourage each IEC\u2019s member to share the gospel to their family members, their friends, their neighbors, their co-workers at work, their classmates at school, and the people around them. And we also encourage each church to hold evangelistic meetings and to encourage the members to join our local mission trip to reach out the refugees of Laotians and Syrians in Fresno in this coming Summer.  Internationally, we encourage each church member to participate in our mission trip to Tagulandang Island and Siau Island, in Manado, Indonesia on August 1-5, to reach out thousands of people for Christ there. We can also do many things in bringing people to Christ. By power of the Holy Spirit and prayer we will accomplish great things for the Lord. Together we are strong. <\/p>\n<p>Rev.
