| ANNOUNCEMENT | |
| 1. | We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area. |
| 2. | The short term mission team will be leaving to LA on Tuesday, Aug 11 – 16. The participant are: Aldo Kurnia, Jennifer Prajudha, Rina Harjono, Lavinia Harjono, Jordan NG, Rudy Martono, Feliana Hioe, Jennifer Idris, Glenn Sebastian, Geovano Lampard, Linda Tan, Gloria Wangsadarma, Fulbert Jong, Joseph Ong (SF), Karsten Widjarnako (SF), Annaka Widjarnako (SF), Latisha Sumardy (SF), Christopher Owen Lu (SF) and Ryan Halim (SF). Rev. Timotius will lead the team and preach at IEC LA on Aug. 16. Please pray for their journey, health and ministries in your daily prayer. |
| 3. | Rev. Stephen and Mrs. Esther Hosea will be going to Indonesia on Aug. 10 returning on Aug. 27 to lead the mission team to Peleng Island. Please continue to pray for their journey, mission activities, safety and people they will serve. |
| 4. | As part of the celebration of our church 30th anniversary on September 19 from 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM in IEC San Francisco, Ev. Tony Ong Teck Meng will be ordained as a pastor. The theme for the anniversary is “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and the speaker will be Rev. Dr. Moses Yang from New Jersey (CEM bishop). After the service, there will be lunch and carnival. As our thankfulness to God, you are welcome to take part in inviting friends/families (you may get the invitation from the care ministry) and providing support for the cost of the food (3 main dishes and 1 dessert) for a total cost of $1,350. Please make a note on the check/envelope “food for church anniversary”. Help in different areas (transportation, facility, food preparation, children etc.). | 5. | Rev. Kristianto Hosea from IEC LA will be preaching in our 30th anniversary combined Sunday service on Sep. 20. Take this opportunity to invite friends and family. |
| 6. | The church will have a “Christmas Tour” to Grand Circle of Nevada, Utah and Arizona from December 20 – 26. The cost is $470.00 per person for double room, $390.00 per person for triple room and $350.00 per person for quad room. The cost covers accommodation and transportation only (meals, admission fees and tips are not included). The registration will be closed by September 13 with minimum of 50 people, otherwise it will be cancelled.
