ANNOUNCEMENT

3. Our condolence to deacon Fei Fei Gono, Gaby, and Geovano for the passing of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Megawati Lie (75 yrs) on last Monday morning (Oct 5) Jakarta time. The late was cremated last Friday (Oct 9). May the Lord comfort and strengthen the family, and be with Fei Fei & Gaby as they are in Jakarta right now.
4. Catechism class starts today at 12 to 1 pm at pastor office. For those who want to be baptized, dedicate their children or want to be official member of IEC on Dec 6, please contact pastor Tim
5. Thanksgiving dinner will be on Saturday, November 21 at 5:30 PM at China Stix in Santa Clara. The cost will be $10.00 (for 5 – 12 years old), $25 (for 13 – 64 years old), $15.00 (for 65 – 69 years old), free for kids under 5 and senior member above 70 years old. $15.00 for each guest (13 yrs. and up), $ 10.00 (5 – 12 yrs.) There will be testimony by Rev. Tony M. Bastaman, from an extreme Moslem family, a former drug addict, a bipolar, a prisoner in several European countries, became a pastor and founder of the “Miracle Drug Rehabilitation Center Serambi Salomo” in Indonesia. 6. Pemuda IEC SF and SJ would like to invite all of the IEC members to join us in a time of worship, reflection, and retreat from our usual activities at the IEC Fall Retreat 2015. The retreat will be held on November 26-28, 2015 at Redwood Christian Park, and the theme is Desiring God. The speaker is Dr. Steve Korch (English only). The cost for a 4 to 8 person room is $125/person, and the cost for a 2-person room is $150/person, the cost for kids 4 to 12 years old is 50% off, and under 3 years old is free.
