ANNOUNCEMENT | |
1. | We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area. |
2. | Congratulations to Yung Wi Hing & Rini Hing on the wedding of their daughter, Margareth Hing and Avi Duc Luu last Saturday, Oct 24th. May God bless this newly formed family. |
3. | We will have a fall cleaning on Saturday, Oct 31st from 10 am to 12.30 pm (lunch will be provided). We will clean glass windows & doors, vacuuming 2nd floor, ES & IS rooms, toilets, parking area, and cleaning stuff that no longer needed. If you want to help (about 20 people) there is a sign-up sheet at notice board at office lobby. Thank you for your willingness to help. |
4. | Next Sunday, Nov 1st is Daylight Saving Time Ends. All are reminded to fall back 1 hour of your time by Saturday (Oct 31st) night before you go to bed. |
5. | The Mission Committee is inviting all of the members to take part in supporting children in developing and poor countries such as; Indonesia, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Togo, Peru, Bolivia, etc. through Compassion International (www.compassion.com). You can provide their basic needs such as; food, medical, health education, and mentoring program to introduce Jesus Christ by giving $ 38.00/ kid/ month. Pray that the Lord will speak to each one of us. The event will take place on next week, Nov 1st and 8th |
6. | Thanksgiving Dinner will be on Saturday, November 21st at 5:30 PM at China Stix in Santa Clara. The cost will be $10.00 (for 5 – 12 years old), $25 (for 13 – 64 years old), $15.00 (for 65 – 69 years old), free for kids under 5 and senior member above 70 years old. $15.00 for each guest (13 yrs. and up), $ 10.00 (5 – 12 yrs.) There will be testimony by Rev.Tony Mohamad Bastaman; from an extreme Moslem family, a former drug addict, a bipolar, a prisoner in several European countries, became a pastor and founder of the “Miracle Drug Rehabilitation Center Serambi Salomo” in Indonesia. Dec 21st to 26th: Christmas Tour to Sedona, Canyon De Chelly, Canyonlands, Glen Canyon Dam, Antelpoe Canyon, and Las Vegas. Dec 31st: New Year Eve’s Fellowship at 6 pm. |
