is back! It will be held on November 9 from 12 noon at Noah’s Ark.
FIRST SUNDAY is BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION and PRAYING FOR PEOPLE around the world ~ NOVEMBER 2
Happy Birthday to birthday students and teachers: Samantha Phan, Josephine Tay, Natanya Thaulad, Teacher Novita Hambali, and Teacher Kiki Sophiana. The birthday students will receive 200 points which can be redeemed at the ARK store every Sunday this month.
After class, each student will receive a goody bag with a Swiss Miss Pudding to remind all of us to pray for people in Swiss this month.
SECOND SUNDAY is MAKING A DIFFERENCE SUNDAY ~ NOVEMBER 9
This is the last month to show support to Ms. Fina Linan, our missionary to Africa. Bring any item you wish to share with Fina. If you wish to make monetary donation to support her, please write a check to IEC with a note: Nurfina Linan Furlough.
Starting this month, Bible Hunt replaces the Scavenger Hunt.
Every 3rd Sunday you will find jelly beans in small containers and a question on a piece of paper. You just need to write your name and answer the question by using the numbers based on the clues below.
The first people to answer correctly can bring the container home. One answer per child 🙂
Clues for November: Matthew 14:17; Luke 5:2
FOURTH SUNDAY is ATTENDANCE SUNDAY ~ NOVEMBER 23
The Attendance Sunday reward will be given to students who come on all four Sundays in a row (on the first, second, third, and fourth Sundays). We do not count the 5th Sunday.
THE ARK STORE
will be held EVERY SUNDAY this November from 11:15-11:30 at the Jordan River classroom with different items every week. The left-over items will be donated to Goodwill every week, so this will be the last chance to see the items. If you are willing to help sending donations to Goodwill, please let Clara know.
Read to Succeed is an exciting program that encourages students in grades K through 6 to read for fun. Students who complete six hours of recreational reading earn a free ticket to Six Flags! The program is available to teachers and schools at no cost to participate, and it's a great way to motivate kids to read.
We welcome everyone to get involved in the Children Ministry! If you think that God is calling you to serve Him through the Children Ministry, please contact Clara Iskandar. Your involvement will make a different in the life of our next generation.
