Pendeta Stephen Hosea telah melayani Tuhan di Gereja Injili Indonesia sejak 1984. Beliau mengambil komitmen menjadi hamba Tuhan pada usia 14 tahun di Gereja Kristen Kalam Kudus di Pematang Siantar, Sumatra Utara. Setelah menyelesaikan Bachelor of Theology di Seminari Alkitab Asia Tenggara (SAAT) \u2013 Malang pada tahun 1981, Beliau melanjutkan studi di Azusa Pacific University untuk mendapatkan Bachelor of Art dan Master of Art in Religion pada tahun 1983.Untuk membantu pelayanannya dalam counseling, Pdt. Hosea melanjutkan studi Master of Art in Marriage Family Child Counseling (MFCC) yang ia selesaikan pada tahun 1984. Dan akhirnya pada tahun 1996, Beliau menyelesaikan gelar Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage Family Child Counseling di California Graduate School of Psychology \u2013 Corte Madera pada tahun 1996.Pelayanan beliau sebagai hamba Tuhan dimulai ketika melayani di Gereja Kristus Tuhan \u2013 Kediri. Beliau pernah menjadi Asisten Pendeta di Gereja Beritakan Injil \u2013 Jakarta sebelum Beliau pindah ke Amerika Serikat. Pendeta Hosea pernah melayani di Gereja Injili Indonesia \u2013 Los Angeles sampai tahun 1984. Sampai sekarang, Beliau dengan setia melayani Tuhan di Gereja Injili Indonesia \u2013 San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento dan San Diego. Beliau adalah juga Ketua Misi Kristen Injili di Pantai Barat Amerika Serikat sejak tahun 1993. Pendeta Hosea juga melayani jemaat gereja Chinese di San Francisco. Beliau adalah Pendeta Senior di Chinese Evangelical Church, dan juga Kepala Sekolah Christian Evangelical Chinese School. Beliau dikenal sebagai pribadi yang murah senyum, ulet, pekerja keras, dan sangat mengasihi Tuhan dan jemaat yang ia layani. Pastor Stephen Hosea made a commitment to serve God at the age of 14 while he was in Pematang Siantar, North Sumatra. After completed his Bachelor of Theology at Southeast Asia Bible Seminary (SAAT) \u2013 Malang in 1981, he went to Azusa Pacific University to continue his study for Bachelor of Art and Master of Art in Religion in 1983.To support his ministry in counseling, Rev. Hosea continued his study for Master of Art in Marriage Family Child Counseling (MFCC) in 1984 and received his Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage Family Child Counseling from California Graduate School of Psychology \u2013 Corte Madera in 1996.His ministry started when he served in Christ Church (Gereja Kristus Tuhan) in Kediri, East Java. Then he became Assistant Pastor in Church of Share the Gospel (Gereja Beritakan Injil) in Jakarta before he left to continue his study in United States.Pastor Hosea served in Indonesian Evangelical Church \u2013 Los Angeles until 1984 when he moved to San Francisco. He continues to faithfully serve the Lord in Indonesian Evangelical Church \u2013 San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento and San Diego until now. He is also the President of Christian Evangelical Mission in West Coast since 1993, serves as Senior Pastor in Chinese Evangelical Church \u2013 San Francisco, and the President of Christian Evangelical Chinese School \u2013 San Francisco.Pastor Hosea is known for his friendly and warm personalities.
