This year our church seeks to be more missional and intentional in our action so that the name of Christ may be glorified throughout all generations. One very practical way to do this is to invite friends to join us during our annual retreat and sponsor their attendance. Although Thanksgiving is often a joyous family time, many actually experience sadness and loneliness, which is especially felt during Thanksgiving and the holiday seasons. Invite them to come and join! This is also an opportunity to bring friends who do not yet know Christ.

Each year our church subsidizes a significant portion of the retreat costs

For every adult's fee ($140), the church subsidizes $65 ($200.00 approximate unsubsidized fee based on last year's calculation)

*Registration Fees cover only accommodation and meals. Other retreat costs such as supplies for activities, games, snacks, and speaker fees are supported by your generous donations. 

Thanksgiving Retreat is a beloved annual tradition where we spend time not only with our own family, but also with our church family. This tradition has blessed us with 36 years of fellowship and blessings in His Word. Please consider making a general donation and drop the check in the offering basket during our services on Sunday beginning Sunday October 6, 2019. Be sure to add “2019 Thanksgiving Retreat - general” in the memo section of your check.

If you would like to sponsor a friend to come to this retreat, add “2019 Thanksgiving Retreat - name of person you want to sponsor” in the memo section of your check. Even if you are not going to retreat this year, consider sponsoring someone. Let’s share Christ’s warmth and love in this practical way.

You can register and pay online below or in person after Sunday service (12:10 pm) until November 5th in the Church Courtyard. For in-person registration, payment is made via check or cash to "Indonesian Evangelical Church". Be sure to write “Indonesian Evangelical Church - 2019 Thanksgiving Retreat Fee” in the reference section. Both online and in-person registration end November 5th.
