2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” —- We want to be intentional with every resource we have to help support you be on mission in your day-to-day life. EQUIP, usually held within the summer months, is a series of classes that aim to challenge your perspective, deepen your knowledge, and help you understand what it means to “walk with Jesus” in all aspects of life. Whether you are a new believer, curious about the faith, or simply have questions to deepen your understanding, we encourage you to attend and be refreshed through the in-depth discussions of relevant issues as they are seen in light of Scripture.

Join us at this year’s 3-week EQUIP series on “God & the Missional Community”. Sessions will be held on August 13, 20, and 27 (Sundays) from 1-2 PM at the Indonesian Sanctuary.

God’s mission for His church is to know Him and to make Him known, but how does ‘community’ fit into this? What does it take to be followers and disciples of Christ? What does it mean to be a “missional community”? What about the church? What is the mission of the church and what place does the local church have in the world today? Why have churches been largely silent on issues of injustice and suffering? What do the Scriptures say about the heart of God for the brokenness this world and how can we as a church be more proactive & aware in these areas?

See you there for a time of sharing, learning, and discussion on these difficult topics!
