The church is the body of Christ, the bride of Christ, and the temple of the living God. It is a people who have been called out of darkness into God’s light. Jesus Christ secured the church through His death. He washed it clean and makes it pure. As members of the body of Christ, we must exalt Christ, the Head, and live a holy life. We believe in the holy Christian church. The church should conform to Christ and not become like the world. The church will put the forces of darkness in the defensive position, and as Jesus promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against it. God uses the church to sustain the faith of His people through preaching, sacraments, and prayer. If we love Jesus, we will love the church.
