If Christ has not been raised, the gospel preaching is useless and Christian faith is useless. Believers remain in their sins and will suffer eternal punishment if Christ is not raised. The resurrection of Christ is the victory of Christ over sin, death, and the devil. He ascended to heaven to reign as Lord and King. He will establish His everlasting kingdom on earth in His second coming. This is the essence of Christian faith and hope.
