ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Congratulations to IEC Sacramento that celebrated their 23rd anniversary today at 4:00 PM. May Jesus, the head of the church use His church to become blessing & witnesses in Sacramento and the surrounding area. The Trinity Choir will sing and everybody is invited to come.
3. Ministry to “LifeMoves Homeless Shelter” (previously called “InnVision”) will be on Saturday, May 7 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. For those who wants to help in preparing dinner, sharing, and praying for the residence, please contact Hari Rediawan at rediawan@gmail.com
4. Next Sunday, May 8 is a combined service in order to celebrate “Mother’s Day”. Everybody is invited to come to worship, be thankful and to show our respect to all the mothers.
5. We are postponing the Navajo local mission trip to Nevada until next year (2017) due to their customary celebration at that time. The Mission Committee is planning to have mission activities to replace it. Please pray for this plan and activities in the upcoming July or August.
6. Mission trip to Indonesia (Oematopa Village in Luwuk, Central Sulawesi) will be on August 4 – 8. The activities will be personal evangelism for children and adults, training for the Sunday School teachers, medical assistance and visit to local residence. The cost will be Rp 4.9 million (air ticket from Jakarta to Luwuk, transportation, food, and lodging). If you are interested to join the team, please contact Rev. Stephen Hosea the latest by May 29.
7. Those who are burdened to serve in few areas like facility, Sunday School teachers, musicians etc., are to contact the head committee. You can find the list of the deacons and committees on the bulletin board.


PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK
1. Activities: fellowship (prayer meeting, young adults, EBF & SBF), music practice, small groups and others.
2. Growth: in quantities as well as in qualities (love, faithfulness, character & ministry).
3. Members: those who are sick, struggling, pregnant (Linna, Veronica & Eva), families with young kids, students and professionals.
4. World: conflict between North & South Korea, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Ukraine etc., war against terrorist and ISIS.
5. Government: California, Indonesia & US.
