ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Praise the Lord! The Small/Bible Study Group leaders training on last April 17 & 23 went well. Thank you for your prayer support and to those who participate. For those who would like to lead or join the SG/BS group in order to “be a true disciple of Christ”, please contact Alvin Wijaya, Glenn Sebastian, Ferliana Hioe or pastor Tim.
3. We are postponing the Navajo local mission trip to Nevada until next year (2017) due to their customary celebration at that time. The Mission Committee is planning to have mission activities to replace it. Please pray for this plan and activities in the upcoming July or August.
4. Mission trip to Indonesia (Oematopa Village in Luwuk, Central Sulawesi) will be on August 4 – 8. The activities will be personal evangelism for children and adults, training for the Sunday School teachers, medical assistance and visit to local residence. The cost will be Rp 4.9 million (air ticket from Jakarta to Luwuk, transportation, food, and lodging). If you are interested to join the team, please contact Rev. Stephen Hosea the latest by May 29.
5. IEC Sacramento will celebrate their 23rd anniversary next Sunday, May 1 at 4:00 PM. The Trinity Choir will sing and everybody is invited to join.
6. Prayer is an important part of our Christian life. The Prayer Meeting Committee would like to invite everybody to come to the prayer meeting every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
7. The church library is open every Sunday from 11:45 – 12:30 PM. Let’s all make a habit to read spiritual books for the growth of your faith & knowledge of God.


PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK
1. Ministries: all of the pastors, deacons, committees, Sunday School teachers, small groups, musicians and choirs.
2. Needs: paying off the mortgage, mission budget and monthly operational expenses.
3. Members: those who are sick, those who are pregnant (Linna, Veronica & Eva), Sunday School children, elderly people and those who struggles in life.
4. Mission: planning of the mission activities, mission trip to Indonesia, Missionary Fina Linan and mission organizations (OMF, Gospel of Asia etc.).
5. Countries: Indonesia (eradicate the corruption, terrorist groups & terrorist hostage release in Philippines), US (presidential election) and Japan & Ecuador (victims & recovery due to the recent earthquake).
