ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Church picnic will be held on July 16 at the Rengstorff Park, Mountain View. Please plan to attend this once a year event for a fun and bonding time.
3. Mission activities in July – August, we plan to evangelize to the Chinese School students at the IEC SF, visiting Senior Center in SF and the Children Recovery Center in SJ. The Mission Committee will have detail information in the later time. Please continue to pray for it and join the activities.
4. Mission trip to Indonesia (Oematopa Village in Luwuk, Central Sulawesi) will be on August 4 – 8. The activities will be personal evangelism for children and adults, training for the Sunday School teachers, medical assistance and visit to local residence. The cost will be Rp 4.9 million (air ticket from Jakarta to Luwuk, transportation, food, and lodging). If you are interested to join the team, please contact Rev. Stephen Hosea the latest by May 29.
5. Church programs, recorded Sunday sermon, photos of some activities and spiritual articles can be seen at our church website. Please visit the website to get all the information as well as introduce our church or use it as a means to evangelize to others.
6. We have 2 new books in the library. They are:

  • The Screwtape letter by CS Lewis
  • The cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

These books are what Dr. Arvin Gouw mentioned in his sermon a couple weeks ago. So, please visit the library to check out these books from 11:45 – 12:30 PM.

7. To those who would like to take part of the church ministry like choir, facility, Sunday School teachers and other areas, please contact the head committee of the department. You can view the list from the bulletin board.
8. Opportunity to be a short term missionary (STM) to serve families with disabilities with Joni and Friends on July 11 – 14 at Mission Springs, Scotts Valley, CA 95066. The cost is $ 450, but the church will subsidize $ 150/participant. Information and registration latest by May 31st athttp://tinyurl.com/joniSTM. You may contact Aldo Kurnia or Fonda Jong too.
9. Sunday School Graduation Ceremony will be held next Sunday, May 22, at the Indonesian Service Sanctuary at 11:15AM. Please invite your friends and family to watch, congratulate and pray for the spiritual growth of our children.

1. Weekly activities: music practice, choir, small group and fellowship (prayer meeting, young adults, EBF & SBF).
2. Growth in quantities, spirituality (love, faithfulness and ministry)
3. Members: those who are sick (Erwin’s mom), pregnant (Linna, Veronica & Eva), elderly, those who struggles and looking for a job.
4. World: war against terrorist & ISIS, conflict in North & South Korea, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and overall worldwide peace.
5. Government: California (Governor Brown & drought), Indonesia (combating corruption & sexual offenses) and US (presidential election).
