1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.

2. Congratulations to Eva & Rudy for their 2nd boy named Bennett Evan Jusuf that was born on September 12. May God bless the growth and health of Bennett under the care of his parents.

3. There will be a Holy Communion next week (Oct. 9). Please be prepared to take part in the Communion. You may bring your tithe to the Lord on second Sunday.

4. We will start our Catechism class on October 16 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM for those who wants to be baptized. Anybody who wants to join this class, parents who want to dedicate their child or if you want to become an official member of this church, please contact Rev.Timotius. Baptism will be performed on December 11.

5. 1. Thanksgiving Retreat will be on November 24 – 26 at Redwood Christian Park in Boulder Creek, CA. The topic is “Salt & Light”. The speaker for the Indonesian speaking is Rev. Dedy Ginta, Pastor Helicon Kuan for English speaking congregation, Pastor Leo Cailles for youth, Mrs. Esther Hosea for children and Pastor James & Winnis Chiang (ES workshop). 6. We would like to ask for your cooperation to ONLY park in the church, Bayshore Auto Tech or EMQ Families First parking lot (turn right in front of the “SCORE” sign) across from the church.

 1. Routine activities: prayer meeting, young adults, cell group, music practice and choir.
 2. Needs: paying off mortgage, mission fund and monthly operational expenses.
 3. Congregations: who is sick (Brian Tan), pregnant (Silvi Natalie, Myrna & Sharon), who are looking for a job, Sunday School children and the elderly people.
 4. World: conflict and war between countries, hunger & health problems and war against terrorist.
 5. Government: California (drought problem), Indonesia (flooding problem in Garut & political stability) and US (presidential election).
