1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.

2. Thanksgiving Retreat will be on November 24 – 26 at Redwood Christian Park in Boulder Creek, CA. The topic is “Salt & Light”. The speaker for the Indonesian speaking is Rev. Dedy Ginta, Pastor Helicon Kuan for English speaking congregation, Pastor Leo Cailles for teen, Mrs. Esther Hosea for children, and Pastor James & Winnis Chiang for English speaking workshop. 3. For those have registered and planned to cancel, please do it as soon as possible because cancellation made after Nov. 10 is not refundable. Those who have registered but have not paid yet, please do so as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

4. The church subsidized approximately $10,000 for the upcoming Thanksgiving Retreat. For those who are burdened to support, you may write a note on the check “2016 retreat”.

5. Next week (Nov. 13), there will be Holy Communion. Please be prepared to take part in the Communion. On every second Sunday you may bring your tithe to the Lord.

6. Our end of year programs:
• Thanksgiving Retreat from November 24 – 26 at RCP.
• Young Adult Christmas Celebration (combined with SF) on December 16 at 7:00 PM in SJ.
• General Christmas Celebration (combined with SF) on December 24 at 5:00 PM in SJ (ES & IS have their own celebration).
• Combined Christmas Service on December 25 at 10:00 AM.
• New Year’s Eve Fellowship on December 31 at 6:00 PM.
 
7. We would like to ask everybody, especially the children, to pay attention to the cleanliness of the church, to not leave any leftover food or drink anywhere, instead throw them in the trash can. Please do not eat/drink in the library as well.

8. Financial Statement for 1st and 2nd quarter is available and posted on the bulletin board.

 PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:
 1. Weekly activities: music practice, choir, small groups, prayer meeting and young adult fellowship.
 2. Needs: paying off the mortgage, mission budget and monthly operational expenses.
 3. Congregation: who is sick (Brian), pregnant (Myrna, Carolina & Sharon), families with young children and who longs for children.
 4. World: earthquake, hurricane, flooding in some places, conflict in the Middle East and war against terrorist.
 5. Countries: Indonesia (local leaders election campaign period) and US (presidential election this coming Tuesday, Nov. 8).
