ANNOUNCEMENT | |
1. | We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area. |
2. | Praise the Lord, the Thanksgiving Retreat went well. Thank you to all the speakers, participants, committees and everybody who have supported this retreat. |
3. | To those who want to support the shortage of cost of the retreat (around $10,000), you may write a note on the check or on the envelope “2016 retreat”. |
4. | We will have “fasting and praying” on Wednesday, November 30. Everybody is encouraged to join the fasting either half or full day. Our focus that day is Christmas celebration, 2017 programs & committees, Indonesia (President Jokowi, the local election simultaneously in 2017), US (transition from President Obama to President Trump) and world peace in general. We will end our fasting and have dinner together at 7:00 PM then continue with the prayer meeting. |
5. | Ministry to LifeMoves Homeless Shelter will be on Saturday, December 3 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. For those who want help prepare dinner, dedicate a song, sharing or pray for the local residence, please contact Aldo Kurnia (aldokurnia@gmail.com). |
6. | To prospective baptism, members and parents who will dedicate their child, please attend the briefing session with our deacons next Sunday, December 4 at 12:00 PM in the English Service Room. If you have not submitted the form, please do so as soon as possible to Rev. Timotius. |
