ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Our condolences to:

  • Gandawati Witrika (90 years old), the grandmother of Aldo Kurnia on April 16 in Jakarta.
  • Fang Ting Tjie (94 years old), the grandfather of Hendra Fanggara on April 24 in Medan.
  • Liong Kie Wong (85 years old), the father of Jimmy Lie on April 25 in Boston, MA.

May God comfort and strengthen the family.
3. Ministry to LifeMoves Homeless Shelter will be on Saturday, May 6 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. For those who want to join preparing dinner, sharing/praying or sing for the current residence, please contact Rini Hing (rini.hing@gmail.com).
4. The English Service and Young Adult Committees will show Oscar winning movie the “Hacksaw Ridge” (Mel Gibson, Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington) on May 6 at 4:30 PM (sharp) in ES room. We will also provide after-movie gourmet coffee and dinner. Please register to Glenn or Linda if you are interested. (movie is R-rated; may not be appropriate for younger audience).
5. IEC Sacramento will celebrate their 24th anniversary next Sunday, May 7 at 4:00 PM. Everybody is invited to come and celebrate. Please register to Rev. Timotius if you plan to come so they can prepare enough food for everybody.
6. Family Seminar with a theme “Building A Strong Family” will be on June 10 at 10 to 12:30 PM. The speakers are Rev. Yakub Susabda (in Indonesian), Dr. Sam B. Leong and Colleen Lam Nguyen (in English). Everybody is invited to attend and you may use the enclosed flyer to invite families and friends. You can see the detail on the poster posted on the bulletin board. Register to Martin Atmadja or Linda Tan the latest by May 14.
 7. As an activity in the Family Month, we would like to invite family (parents, children, grandparents, aunts/uncles) to participate by presenting song, playing music, reading poem, Bible memorization in 3 – 7 minutes. Please register to Linda Tan or Martin Atmadja so they can arrange the schedule.



 PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:
 1. Weekly activities: prayer meeting, young adult fellowship, music practice, choir and small group.
 2. Needs: paying off the church mortgage, monthly operational expenses and people who are willing to serve.
 3. Congregation: Mrs. Liliek for the recovery of her knee, those who are looking for a job or visa status, Sunday School kids and elderly people.
