| 5. | The Children Ministry will have An Evangelism Explosion Training for teachers on Friday, August 11 from 5:00 – 8:30 PM and Saturday, August 12 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at church. This training is free of charge and open to all teachers and congregation. We only ask you to pay $ 12.00 for the materials.. We encourage everybody to join the training so that you can be equipped in knowing how to evangelize the children. You may register to Seniwati Hung (seni123@gmail.com) or Alvin Wijaya (adrian.wijaya@gmail.com) the latest by July 9. Meal and childcare will be provided during the training. The EE class for 3rd – 5th grade will start on September 2017 to March 2018. |

| 7. | The Mission Trip to Indonesia (Padang & Selat Panjang Islands) is on August 24 – 27. There are 20 people in the group and the 4 participants from SJ are Himawan Brasali, Paul Tjam, Rini Buntaran, and Elianne Tjam. Please pray for the team’s preparation and health. |
