ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. The red offering bag that was passed today is for building fund. Let’s all support our target for paying off our mortgage which is on the year 2019.
3. There will be Holy Communion next week (August 13). Please prepare yourself to take part in the Communion and you may bring your tithe as well to the Lord.
4. As a reminder to all members of Family Small Group, there will be a meeting next week (August 13) at 12:00 PM on the 2nd floor classroom. Please read the material and arrive on time.
5. The EE training will start this coming Friday (August 11) from 5:00 – 8:30 PM and Saturday (August 12) from 8:00 – 5:00 PM. Please remember them in your prayer so they can be equipped to teach the children so they can bring their friends to believe in God.
6. Rev. Stephen Hosea will be going to Indonesia (August 7) to teach Family Crisis Counseling at STT Iman, lead the Evangelistic Meeting at Siantar & Medan and the mission trip to Padang & Selat Panjang Island. He will be back on August 30. Mrs. Esther Hosea will be joining the mission trip then continue to teach Church Music at STT Pelita Dunia. Please pray and remember them together with the mission team. The San Jose Congregation that will join the mission trip is Himawan Brasali, Paul Tjam, Rini Buntaran and Elianne Tjam.
7. The Thanksgiving Retreat will be on November 23 – 25 at the Crowne Plaza in Sacramento and the theme is “Finding Balance in Life”. The speaker will be Ev. Kalvin & Tantiani Budiman and Tim Leung. The cost is as follow:

 8. We ask all the parents to continue supporting their children to join the Summer Reading Program by taking them to the library every Sunday from 11:45 – 12:30 PM. The program will end on August 20.



 PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:
 1. Ministry: all of the pastors, deacons, committees, choir, musicians, worship leader and cell groups.
 2. Children ministry: all of the teachers, children on their physical/spiritual growth and EE training.
 3. Congregation: those who are sick, on vacation, pregnant and the elderly people.
 4. Mission: mission trip to Indonesia, Missionary Fina Linan, Missionary Karen & Dana Ostby and family members/friends who are not believers yet.
