ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. To those who want to become official members of the church, dedicate their children, or be baptized on the Christmas Service on December 23rd, please register to Rev. Timotius. Catechism class for those who want to be baptized will begin on Oct 21st – Dec 9th, every week from 12.00 to 1.00 pm at the church.
3. The Children Ministry will host a Harvest Carnival as an outreach program where we will have decorated cars and gospel booths for games and treats. The event will be held on October 27thfrom 2:00 – 4:00PM at IEC SJ parking lot. There will be food, games, treats, and bounce house. Everyone is welcome. Please register at  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/harvest-carnival-tickets-50028571805 and if you want to participate in hosting a car booth, please contact Maria Joana. For any questions or interested in helping out, please contact Irene Lestari, Alvin Wijaya or Seniwati Hung.
4. Thanksgiving Lunch will be held on Nov. 17th at Dynasty Seafood Restaurant, Cupertino at 11.00am. Registration starts at 10:30am. The speaker is Ev. Emil Andreas (IEC Los Angeles). It costs $30.00 (13 years and above). $25.00 (guests and 65 yrs and above). $10.00 (5-12 yrs). Free for children under 5 years (sitting with parents). Use flyers provided by the committee to invite family members and friends, especially those who do not know Jesus. Please register to Alvin Wijaya, Rini Buntaran, Maria Joana, or Lavinia Harjono. Registration is now open and will be closed on November 4th or after the target/capacity is reached.
5. The Pemuda Professional Team along with Himawan & Liliana Brasali will be hosting a series of Personal Finance Workshops. The workshops will be over a course of 5-weeks from 1-3 PM at church. The cost is only $10 (for material). Here is the schedule of the workshop:

NOV 3 – Building and protecting your wealth
NOV 10 – Asset Accumulation
DEC 1 – Wealth Preservation

6. Last September there were 61 people who heard the Gospel (4 churches). Those who have shared the Gospel please write the number and drop it in the “Target 4,000 People Hear the Gospel” box in front of the library. There are also tracts, DVD and other materials at the table.
7. Prayer is the breath of life of believers. We invite everyone who have not attended the Prayer Meeting to attend every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  Let us pray for God’s work, fellow believers, country, and personal needs.

PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK
1. Growth: in quantity and quality (reading the Bible, attending prayer meetings, East/South Bay Fellowships, Bible study groups, and ministry).
2. Weekly activities: prayer meeting, young adults fellowship, music & choir practices, and small groups.
3. Congregation: those who are sick, pregnant (Ferliana Hioe & Linna Phang), students, professionals, elderly people, and small children.
4. Government: California, Indonesia, USA.
