ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. IEC Sacramento will celebrate her 26th birthday this afternoon (May 5) at 4:00p.m. SJ choir will perform there. Inviting the congregation to give thanks together for God’s faithfulness to His church all this time.
3. Child dedication will be held next Sunday, May 12 for; Joyce Xing, daughter of Linna Phang & Steve Rosny, and Samuel Martono, son of Ferliana Hioe & Rudy Martono. Please pray for the two children, their parents, and the program next Sundayh.
4. Discipleship Training will be held this Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 to 3.30PM. All are invited but committees and sub-committees members, those involved in care ministry, small group/Bible Study group leaders, and those involved in any ministry are required to attend this workshop. Inviting everyone to attend all sessions:

5. Next week, May 12 is a combined service to commemorate Mother’s Day. The speaker is Rev.Steve Lee from IEC Azusa/Los Angeles. Inviting all congregations to come to worship and also express love and respect to mothers.
6. Since next week, May 12 is a combined service to celebrate Mother’s Day, therefore Holy Communion will be served on May 19.
7. The IJM Liberate Local Prayer Gathering event will be held tonight (May 5), there will be a testimony from IJM staff who worked directly in the field to eradicate slavery. It will be held at 7p.m. at Venture Church, 16845 Hicks Road, Los Gatos, CA 95032. Contact Lavinia or Rini Buntaran for more information.
8. Our local mission trip to FIRM (Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries) serving the Hmong, Laotian and Syrian tribes is planned to take place on July 19-21. Activities include: prayer walks, children VBS, door-to-door evangelism, community service. It costs $100/person (transportation, meals, accommodation). Please register by May 19 to Erwin Widiarta, Lavinia Harjono or Rini Buntaran. Please pray for this mission trip.
9. Mission trips to Indonesia, Tagulandang Island and Siau Island in Menado will be held on August 1-4. The cost will be IDR 6.6 million or IDR 7.6 million (add to Tomohon). Registration will be closed on May 26 and prices will change after that date. 22 people have registered for the trip. For those who are planning to take part in the trip, please contact Erwin Widiarta or Rev. Hosea.
10. This month’s East Bay and South Bay fellowship will be combined. The date is May 25 at 5.00 pm The place is at Jeti & Joseph Suyatno’s residence. There will be potluck dinner. Invite the congregation to attend.
11. We’d like to encourage you to take part in our post-service discussions either a few minutes in the ES room, during lunch, or in your own small groups. We hope this could help instill what we learn on Sundays to our daily lives.
12. Our prayer board is up! Please take a look, post a prayer request, and help us pray for the needs of our families in this church. If you have any questions about the board, especially the private prayer request, feel free to reach out to either Jennifer Lukanta or Glenn Sebastian.

PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK
1. Growth: in quantity, in spirituality (serving, caring, worshiping, praying, and reading the Bible).
2. Weekly activities: prayer meetings, young adults, music practice, choir practice, small groups, Bible study groups.
3. Congregations: those who are sick (Sudjono Tan, Hansel Chong’s grandfather), pregnant (Tressia Hing & Olivia Tan), looking for work, residence status, families who long for a child, the elderly.
4. Mission: missionaries Fina Linan (Burkina Faso), Dana & Karina Ostby (Indonesia), local & Indonesia mission trips, targets of 5,000 people to hear the gospel.
