ANNOUNCEMENT | |
1. | We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area. |
2. | Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. May God’s love and blessings be abundant in the lives of all mothers. |
3. | Congratulations to Steve Rosny & Linna Phang who dedicated Joyce Xing and Rudy Martono & Ferliana Hioe who dedicated Samuel Oliver Martono. May the Lord Jesus help them in raising, guiding and educating Joyce and Samuel. |
4. | There will be a Holy Communion next week, May 19th. Please be prepared to take part in the Communion. You may bring your tithe to the Lord next week. |
5. | Our local mission trip to FIRM (Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries) serving the Hmong, Laotian and Syrian tribes is planned to take place on July 19-21. Activities include: prayer walks, children VBS, door-to-door evangelism, community service. It costs $100/person (transportation, meals, accommodation). Registration will be closed next week, May 19. Please contact Erwin Widiarta, Lavinia Harjono or Rini Buntaran or register online https://tinyurl.com/yxdflfju. Please pray for this mission trip. |
6. | Mission trips to Indonesia, Tagulandang Island and Siau Island in Menado will be held on August 1-4. The cost will be IDR 6.6 million or IDR 7.6 million (add to Tomohon). Registration will be closed on May 26 and prices will change after that date. 22 people have registered for the trip. For those who are planning to take part in the trip, please contact Erwin Widiarta or Rev. Hosea. |
7. | This month’s East Bay and South Bay fellowship will be combined. The date is May 25 at 5.00 pm The place is at Jeti & Joseph Suyatno’s residence. There will be potluck dinner. Invite the congregation to attend. |
8. | We’d like to encourage you to take part in our post-service discussions either a few minutes in the ES room, during lunch, or in your own small groups. We hope this could help instill what we learn on Sundays to our daily lives. |
9. | Our prayer board is up! Please take a look, post a prayer request, and help us pray for the needs of our families in this church. If you have any questions about the board, especially the private prayer request, feel free to reach out to either Jennifer Lukanta or Glenn Sebastian. |
10. | The total of people who have heard the Gospel last April (5 churches) was 226 people. A reminder for those who have shared the gospel, to write the number and put it in the “Target 5,000 People Hear the Gospel” box at the desk in front of library. Take and use tracts, DVDs and other materials on the table as a tool in sharing the gospel of Jesus’ salvation. |
11. | This year there will be Thanksgiving Retreat (Nov 28-30). It’s at Redwood Christian Park at Boulder Creek. Please pray for the committee, the speaker, and the congregation who will attend. More detailed information will be announced later. |
