ANNOUNCEMENT | |
1. | We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area. |
2. | Praise the Lord and thank you to the parents and congregation for supporting our children ministry to SF Chinese School students on Saturday, May 18. They performed “God’s Not Dead” musical drama. May God work in the heart of the students who have heard and witnessed the drama to believe in our risen and living Jesus. |
3. | Mission trip registration to FIRM (Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries), Fresno is closed today, May 19. For those who want to participate, please register immediately to the Mission team (Erwin Widiarta, Lavinia Harjono or Rini Buntaran) or online at https://tinyurl.com/yxdflfju. Please pray for the participants, activities and people who will be served there. |
4. | Next week, May 26 there will be a Class Graduation Ceremony for Sunday School Children at IS. Please pray for our kids’ spiritual growth and next week ceremony. |
5. | Mission trips to Indonesia, Tagulandang Island and Siau Island in Menado will be held on August 1-4. The cost will be IDR 6.6 million or IDR 7.6 million (add to Tomohon). Registration will be closed on May 26 and prices will change after that date. 24 people have registered for the trip. For those who are planning to take part in the trip, please contact Erwin Widiarta or Rev. Hosea. |
6. | This month’s East Bay and South Bay fellowship will be combined. The date is May 25 at 5.00 pm The place is at Jeti & Joseph Suyatno’s residence. There will be potluck dinner. Invite the congregation to attend. |
7. | We’d like to encourage you to take part in our post-service discussions either a few minutes in the ES room, during lunch, or in your own small groups. We hope this could help instill what we learn on Sundays to our daily lives. |
8. | Our prayer board is up! Please take a look, post a prayer request, and help us pray for the needs of our families in this church. If you have any questions about the board, especially the private prayer request, feel free to reach out to either Jennifer Lukanta or Glenn Sebastian. |
9. | The total of people who have heard the Gospel last April (5 churches) was 241 people. A reminder for those who have shared the gospel, to write the number and put it in the “Target 5,000 People Hear the Gospel” box at the desk in front of library. Take and use tracts, DVDs and other materials on the table as a tool in sharing the gospel of Jesus’ salvation. |
10. | This year there will be Thanksgiving Retreat (Nov 28-30). It’s at Redwood Christian Park at Boulder Creek. Please pray for the committee, the speaker, and the congregation who will attend. More detailed information will be announced later. |
