ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Next week, Oct 13th we will have a Holy Communion. Please be prepared to take part in the Communion. On 2nd week you are given an opportunity to bring your tithe to the Lord.
3. Congratulations to Joseph & Tiffany Iskandar Wibowo for their wedding on Saturday, September 28. And to their parents Hendra & Clara Iskandar and Henky & Yanni Wibowo. May the Lord Jesus bless this couple as they build a family that glorifies God.
4. Our condolences on the passing of Mrs.Jasmine Tay (90 years old), mother of Tommy Tay, on Oct. 4 in Hong Kong. May God give comfort and strengthen the families during this time.
5. Free flu shots by Walgreens will be held after the service at 11:45 a.m. in front of the church. Protect yourself in the coming winter with this flu shot.
6. Next week, October 13, the Mission Committee will invite representative from the “City Team” organization to introduce their ministry. Hope that we can support the ministry of this organization.
7. Our annual Harvest Carnival event will be held on October 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the church. The program includes: bounce house, face painting and nail arts, photo booth, games, trunk and treat and more. Inviting everyone to bring their children to come and also invite other children and their families to this event. To those who want to decorate their trunk (14 cars are needed) please contact Joana Maria, Irene Lestari, or Seniwati Hung.
8. Due to Harvest Carnival event, the South Bay and East Bay fellowhip will be combined on October 12 at 5.00pm. at church. Inviting everyone to attend and also invite new friends.
9. Catechism/baptism classes will start on Oct. 13 to Nov. 24, every Sunday from 12 to 1p.m. For those who want to be baptized on December 1 or 22, please attend the classes and register to Rev.Timotius.
10. Thanksgiving Retreat registration will be closed on Oct 27. The event will be held on November 28-30 at Redwood Christian Park (RCP), Boulder Creek, CA 95006. The theme is “Choose You This Day” from Joshua 24:15. The speakers: Rev.Tommy Elim (Indonesia), Pastor Dean Saelao (English), Pastor Gabriel Tseng (Teen), Virginia Lin (Children). Speakers’ profile is posted on notice board. You can also purchase adult T-shirts for $7.00. T-shirt picture is posted on notice board (next to library).
