ANNOUNCEMENT
1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Praise the Lord and thank you for the congregation for helping with the Harvest Carnival event yesterday, October 19. May the name of our Lord Jesus be exalted and all who came feel the warmth of Jesus’ love and receive His blessing through our ministry.
3. For those who want to be baptized on December 1 or December 22, please participate in Catechism class every Sunday from 12:00 to 1.00 p.m. Please contact Rev.Timotius or Ev.Mariany Tjing (Rev.Timotius is delivering a sermon at IEC SF today) if you want to be baptized, become an official member of the church, or dedicate your child to God.
4. Praise the Lord, the number of people who heard the gospel last September (5 churches) were 162. Thank you for your support in sharing the Gospel, that we have reached our 5,000 target hear the Gospel. If you have shared the Gospel this month, please record the number and enter it in the “Target 5000 hear the Gospel” box on the table in front of the Library. Use the materials on the table as a tool / means in sharing the gospel.
5. ReGeneration Project in collaboration with Western Seminary will held a seminar on Nov 9 from 9.00 to 5.00 pm (in English). The main speakers are Josh McDowell & Sean McDowell (Evidence That Demands A Verdict) with 11 speakers and various other topics. It is at Christ Community Church, 1000 South Park Victoria Drive, Milpitas, CA 95035. It costs $20 and for student $15 (including lunch box). Registration and complete information at http://www.regenerationproject.org. Poster and flyers are posted on the bulletin boards. On Friday, Nov 8 at the same place, there is a free special training for church leaders. The time is 2.00 to 5.00 pm with the topic “A Perfect Storm”.
6. This week and Oct 27 there will be Thanksgiving Retreat registration table. Participants who want to make a payment or register can go to the table. Registration will be closed on Oct 27. After Oct. 27 the registration fee is non-refundable. The event will be held on November 28-30 at Redwood Christian Park (RCP), Boulder Creek, CA 95006. The theme is “Choose You This Day” from Joshua 24:15. The speakers: Rev.Tommy Elim (Indonesia), Pastor Dean Saelao (English), Pastor Gabriel Tseng (Teen), Virginia Lin (Children). Speakers’ profile is posted on notice board. You can also purchase adult T-shirts for $7.00. T-shirt picture is posted on notice board (next to library).
