FIRST SUNDAY is BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION SUNDAY ~ APRIL 6
Happy Birthday to
students: Matthew Atmadja, Caleigh Gunawan, and Ravelio Prasetya! Happy
Birthday to teachers: Sharlene Shia, and Jessica Haryanto. May God shower them
with His blessings on their special day. The birthday students will receive 200
points which can be redeemed at the next The ARK Store (June 29).
SECOND SUNDAY is MAKING A DIFFERENCE SUNDAY ~ APRIL 13
SHARE & TELL: Decorate
an egg and bring it to Sunday school! Be ready to share to your friends on how
you decorate it. You can also decorate some eggs and share them with friends.
GOOD FRIDAY ~ APRIL 18 at 7PM
RSVP to Clara by April 10;come and bring your friends! At dawn the next day,
some women went to look at the tomb but they could not find Jesus. Jesus was
gone from the tomb. Where did He go? Who took Jesus away?
Classrooms
are available as follow:
1. Baby’s room is available for parents who want to nurse the
baby. Baby-1 year old can be brought in to Sanctuary.
2. Toddler, preK-K, Lower, and Upper Elementary will be in Dining
Hall. Teacher Yanny prepares a special activity where the children will bake
and enjoy the special bread while learning about God’s love
3. Teen will learn about “His love reaches all†from Ev. Steven Sutjandra
THIRD SUNDAY ~ APRIL 20
EASTER SUNDAY
Ready for eggs hunting? Teacher Silvi and Teacher Erika will be hiding lot of eggs
for all students to hunt. Come at 10 AM and don’t be late!
Every 3rd Sunday during class time, the students receive a 3×5 card with 2 teachers’
names. The students will hunt the signature of the teachers. When the students
show the signed card to Teacher Clara, he/she will get extra 10 points (5
points for getting 1 teacher’s signature). The purpose of the Scavenger Hunt is
to encourage the students to get to know the
congregations
FOURTH SUNDAY is ATTENDANCE SUNDAY ~ APRIL 27
The Attendance Sunday Reward will be given to students who come on all four Sundays
in a row (on the first, second, third, and fourth Sundays). The students will
receive 10 extra points on the fourth Sunday from the classroom teacher. We do
not count the 5th Sunday.
VBS – SUMMER
Ev.Mariany Tjing will organize a 5-day VBS during
summer from 9:30-12:30pm. She needs your help to make this event a success by
submitting the survey form by April 6:
If you are the parent of a budding chef between the ages of 8
and 12, you’re invited to work together and send in your child’s original lunch
recipe inspired by the USDA’s MyPlate. You and your
child could win a trip to Washington, D.C., and you may have the opportunity to
represent your state at the Kids’ “State Dinner,” hosted by Mrs.
Obama at the White House.
2) Sixth Annual Student-to-Student GATE Conference on Saturday, May 17,
2014 from 1 – 5PM at Cowell College, UCSC, Santa Cruz, CA. This FREE
conference offers students grades 3–12 an opportunity to shine, to share their
interests, talents and passions in a 15-minute workshop that will be attended
