“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 1
Corinthians 1:3-4 (New King James Version)
NOTES
Happy Father’s Day once again to all fathers of our Sunday school students. May God bless your parenting journey.
I take this opportunity to share a very inspirational video of a runner named Derek Redmond who seriously injured himself during an Olympic Race. Despite the agonizing pain and distortion he kept on running. As he was limping on the track an older man ran down and broke through security to support him, it was his Father. Shortly before the finish line, Derek’s father let him go to complete his race.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCAwXb9n7EY
