ANNOUNCEMENT
1.

Welcome to our Sunday service. If you are first time joining us, welcome! Hope you will join us again next week. Please invite your family and friends to join our Sunday service or fellowship so that they may hear the word of God and be blessed. 

2.

The final Holy Communion of this year will be held next Sunday, December 14. Please prepare your hearts to participate.

3.

Congratulations to Evelyn and Joseph Ho on the birth of their daughter, Everly Joy Ho, on December 2. May God’s loving care be upon the baby, mother, and family during this joyful season.

4.

On the upcoming Sundays (December 14 & 21), those who wish to give a Christmas offering may place it in the special Christmas Offering envelopes provided. For those giving by check or Zelle, please include the note “Christmas 2025”.

5.

A combined Christmas celebration with IEC San Francisco will be held on Saturday, December 13 at 4:00 PM at San Francisco. The theme this year is “Why Celebrate Christmas” with guest speaker Rev. Dean Saelao. The program will also feature a combined choir presentation and a short drama. Flyers have been prepared and may be used as invitation for family and new friends.

6.

Christmas caroling visits take place on Saturday, December 20 at 5:00 PM. Congregation who wish to receive a visit are kindly asked to contact Yung Kie Hing no later than December 14, so that scheduling can be arranged smoothly.

7.

The combined Christmas service for IS & ES will be held on Sunday, December 21, with Rev. Stephen Lim as the speaker. Parents who wish to dedicate their children are encouraged to contact the deacons. May this Christmas season be a meaningful opportunity for all members to invite friends, especially those who have not yet believe in Jesus.

8.

The Year-End Fellowship will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 6:00 PM. Everyone is warmly invited to come together in praise and thanksgiving for God’s goodness and help throughout 2025 and to pray for His guidance in 2026.

   
   
PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:
1.

Spiritual Growth: Pray for growth both in quality – deepening faith, knowledge of God and spiritual maturity and in quantity – that more people may attend and come to believe in the Lord

2.

Congregation Needs: Lift up those who are sick/recovering, including Rev. Daniel Uhm’s father who is battling cancer; pray for expectant mothers and those facing challenges in health, work, studies, family and other areas of life

3.

World Concerns: Pray for peace efforts between Russia & Ukraine, for resolution of conflicts in the Middle East and for recovery/healing in Hong Kong following the recent fire

4.

Government Leaders: Pray for Indonesia as it responds to flooding in West & North Sumatra and for the United States – President Trump & his cabinet – that they may lead with wisdom and integrity
