1. We would like to welcome everyone who joins our service. May the Lord bless us all the days of our life! Everybody is invited to join our service every Sunday, as well as other fellowships and activities. After the service, please stay for some refreshments and fellowship in the kitchen area.
2. Ministry to LifeMoves Homeless Shelter will be on Nov. 5 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. For those who want to join in serving; preparing dinner, praying or sing, please contact Rini Hing (rini.hing@gmail.com).
3. Next week (Nov. 6) is the end of the Daylight Saving Time. Please remember to turn back the clock 1 hour on Saturday night before going to bed.

4. Our condolences to the family of Kusmo Widjojo for the passing of his mom (Susanti’s grandma), Ms. Heng Soo Hoon (90 yrs) on Oct 25 in Singapore. May God comfort the grieving families.
5. We would like to ask everybody, especially the children, to pay attention to the cleanliness of the church, to not leave any leftover food or drink anywhere. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping clean God’s house
6. Thanksgiving Retreat will be on November 24 – 26 at Redwood Christian Park in Boulder Creek, CA. The topic is “Salt & Light”. The speaker for the Indonesian speaking is Rev. Dedy Ginta, Pastor Helicon Kuan for English speaking congregation, Pastor Leo Cailles for teen, Mrs. Esther Hosea for children, and Pastor James & Winnis Chiang for English speaking workshop. 7. Next week (Nov. 6) will be the last registration for the retreat. For those who plan to cancel, please do it as soon as possible because cancellation made after Nov. 10 is not refundable. Those who have registered but have not paid yet, please do so as soon as possible.
8. The church subsidized approximately $10,000 for the upcoming Thanksgiving Retreat. For those who are burdened to support, you may write a note on the check “2016 retreat”.

• Young Adult Christmas Celebration (combined with SF) on December 16 at 7:00 PM in SJ.
• General Christmas Celebration (combined with SF) on December 24 at 5:00 PM in SJ (ES & IS have their own celebration).
• Combined Christmas Service on December 25 at 10:00 AM.
• New Year’s Eve Fellowship on December 31 at 6:00 PM.

 PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:
 1. Programs: retreat (participants, speakers & committees) and Christmas (committees, drama, musical & choir).
 2. Growth: in quantities as well as in qualities (reading the Bible, serving, and loving).
 3. Congregation: who is sick (Brian Tan), pregnant (Myrna, Carolina & Sharon), those who join the Catechism class, and families who long for children.
 4. Mission: Missionary Fina Linan (Burkina Faso), Dana & Karen Ostby (Indonesia), mission budget, and family members who are not believer yet.
 5. Countries: Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia (local leaders election campaign period) and US (election day on Nov. 8).
