ANNOUNCEMENT

Welcome to our Sunday service. If you are first time joining us, welcome! Hope you will join us again next week. Please invite your family and friends to join our Sunday service or fellowship so that they may hear the word of God and be blessed.

There will be a Holy Communion next Sunday, Oct 10th. Please be prepared to take part in the Communion. You may bring your tithe to the Lord next Sunday.

The flu shot event will be postponed to next Sunday, Oct 10th because CVS pharmacy receives the flu vaccines later than expected.

A few points to be noted:

  1. The flu shots are for those age 3 years and above
  2. It is free for those who registered before Sep 19th
  3. The cost for members of Kaiser who registered on Sep 26th and Oct 3rd is $25.00 each
  4. For seniors (65 years and older) who are members of Medicare Part B, the cost (discounted price) is $60.00 each
  5. Please bring your insurance card/information when getting the flu shots.

East Bay fellowship will be held on this Saturday, October 9th at 5:00 pm at the residence of Yudhi and Lany Trisno family. Please use this opportunity to invite new friends to the fellowship.

7.

South Bay fellowship will be held on October 16th at 5:00 pm at the residence of Yungkie & Nanny family. Please attend and use this opportunity to invite new friends to the fellowship.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, the Mission trip to Indonesia (Timor and Rote island) is postponed until next year, 2022. And the study tour to Israel, Egypt and Jordan is also postponed to March 2022.

9.

For those who want to receive baptism, become official members of the church, or dedicate their children on the Christmas service on December 19th, please let Rev. Timotius know.

10.

Please follow the health protocols. Do not gather, eat and drink inside the church building after the service. Please discard any left-over food and other trash directly in the blue dumpster located at the church parking lot at the side of the church building.

11.

Please temporarily park your cars at Uplift Family Services across our church. The church parking lots is used for gathering after the service and for Sunday School classes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

   
   

PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:

Ministry: church ministers, deacons, committees, Sunday school teachers, Sunday worship teams, Bible study groups.

Congregation: sick and in recovery (Nicholas Lu, Gen Hung – Stanley Hung’s mother). Tiffany Iskandar’s pregnancy. Those who have struggles in their family, health, finance, studies, works and ministry.

World: recovery and stability in Afghanistan, migrants who just arrived in US or other countries, overcoming Covid-19.

4.

Countries: Indonesia (infrastructure development and economic growth), U.S. (wildfires in California, relations with foreign countries).
