ANNOUNCEMENT
1. Welcome to our Sunday service. If you are first time joining us, welcome! Hope you will join us again next week. Please invite your family and friends to join our Sunday service or fellowship so that they may hear the word of God and be blessed.
2. There will be a combined service to celebrate our church 37th Anniversary next Sunday, Sept. 25. The speaker will be Rev.David Bawks (missionary in Nairobi, Kenya for 10 years). Inviting everyone to come together to give thanks for God’s faithfulness to the church and invite new friends.
3. Church plan to start a multi-purpose area resurfacing project for basketball, outreach, team building, parking spots and other activities that will cost about $10,000.
Please mark your financial contribution as “multipurpose area project” to support this effort. The contribution window for this project will close on October 9.
4. Thanksgiving dinner will be held on Friday, Nov. 25 at 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pearl Bay Restaurant, Fremont. The theme: “Overflowing in Thanksgiving”. The speaker will be Rev.Matthew Blevins. There will be games, solo/duets, and choir presentation. Registration will begin next Sunday, Sept. 25. The cost is $40.00 (12 years old and older), $14.00 (4 – 11 years old), free for 3 years old and under (sit together with parents). Take this opportunity to invite family and other friends.
5. Pemuda Open House (welcoming night) will be held on September 30, to welcome new college students into our church. We will need some volunteers to help:

– provide dinner for the students,

– transport food to the church,

– drive students to church

1. Thanksgiving: our church that has been led by God for 37 years, congregations who faithfully support our church ministry, health, and our families.
2. Congregation: sick and recovering (Herman Yudi’s mother, Mazmur Wong’s aunt – Ong Bek Bie), small children, teens, young adults, and the elderly.
3. World: drought, floods, fires in some places, Russia’s war with Ukraine, the stability of the world economy in general.
4. Government: California (Governor Newsom & his staff), Indonesia (President Jokowi & his cabinet), USA (President Biden & his cabinet).
