Welcome to our Sunday service. If you are first time joining us, welcome! Hope you will join us again next week. Please invite your family and friends to join our Sunday service or fellowship so that they may hear the word of God and be blessed. 

Registration for the church picnic closes today (August 18). Please immediately register to Dewi Atmadja (dewimariska@gmail.com) or Hidayat Lioe (hidayatl@yahoo.com) if you want to join and bring family or new friends. The picnic is on Saturday, August 24 from 11:00 – 3:00 pm at the Rengstorff Park in Mountain View. The main dish will be provided by the church but you are welcome to bring drinks or snacks and inform Dewi or Hidayat about it.   

Thanksgiving Retreat registration begins today. For those who want to join, please register immediately to Jerry Sugiarto (jsugiarto@yahoo.com), Lucky Effendi (lucky.effendi@gmail.com) or Geovano Zuliano (ggeovano@gmail.com). The place will be at the Redwood Christian Park in Boulder Creek where the speakers are Rev. Hengky Chiok, Pastor Daniel Gilham and Virginia Lin. Below is the cost (include 6 meals):

Recently there have been homeless who entered our church, not for the purpose of attending the service. Please DO NOT give money to them, but direct them to the usher/care ministry to be handled. We have contacted the City to deal with these homeless that stays in front of our church so it does not disturb the security especially with our kids and teenagers. Thank you for your attention and cooperation. 

The Children’s Ministry will conduct an Evangelism Explosion (EE) program for the Upper Elementary Class (Grade 4-6) from September 8, 2024 to February 23, 2025. EE is a Christian intensive discipleship program that helps children be assured of their salvation and trains them to share the Gospel with others. We need 16 volunteers who can commit to helping out once a month to ensure the smooth operation of this program. We strongly encourage the parents of the Upper Elementary Class’s students to sign up as volunteers. Young Adults and other church members are also invited to volunteer and support the program. Volunteer training will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Please contact Nadya (nadyobe@gmail.com) or Joan (joanamaria@gmail.com) to sign up or for further information. 

Ministry: pastors, committees, Sunday School teachers, music/choir practice and Bible Study Group. 

Congregations: those who are sick and/or recovering (Herman’s mom, Mazmur’s aunt, Imelda’s dad & others) and those who are looking for a job. 

World: conflict in the Middle East, war between Russia – Ukraine, tension between China – Taiwan and overall political/economic stability. 

Government: California, Indonesia and the U.S for the upcoming November election.
