ANNOUNCEMENT
1.

Welcome to our Sunday service. If you are first time joining us, welcome! Hope you will join us again next week. Please invite your family and friends to join our Sunday service or fellowship so that they may hear the word of God and be blessed. 

2.

There will be Holy Communion next week, February 9. Please be prepared to take part in the Communion.

3.

The Combined East & South Bay Fellowship in celebration of the Mission Month and Chinese New Year will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 4:30 pm at the church. Everyone is invited to come.

4.

Our condolences for the passing of Mr. Max Arifin (86 years old), the grandfather of Tiffany Iskandar on January 29 in Jakarta. May God comfort and strengthen the grieving family.

5.

Mission Conference will be held on February 22nd at IEC San Francisco at 4:00 pm and on February 23rd at San Jose (IS & ES combined) with the theme “Reap with Joy” (Psalm 126:5). The keynote speaker will be Missionary Rev. Dana Ostby while the children/youth speaker will be Missionary Karen Ostby. Full details can be seen on the poster/flyer posted on the bulletin board.

This year’s Mission Budget (March 2025 – February 2026) is as follows:

  • Mission Church (SF Chinese Church, Sacramento, Budapest, Milan & Benidom) = $3,000.00
  • Mission in Indonesia (Banjarmasin, STT, Timor, Kayape & pastors) = $4,200.00
  • Local mission (LifeMoves, EE, outreach, training, Indopartners etc.) = $3,000.00
  • Missionary (Fina Linan, Africa) = $1,800.00
  • Total per month = $12,000.00 or $144,000.00 per year
  • Details of the mission budget can be seen on the bulletin board near the library or in front of the ES room. For those who want to pay off their 2024 Mission Faith Offering, you can do it until the end of February.
7.

Mission Trip to Indonesia will be held from July 20 – 25 to Medan City and Pematang Siantar. You can find the detail of this mission trip at the bulletin board near library as well as in front of the ES.

8.

For those who wish to donate the Sunday, Wednesday refreshment and/or pulpit flowers, please contact the relevant commission or you may fill out the form that is posted on the bulletin board.

PRAYER ITEMS FOR THE WEEK:
1.

Ministry: pastors, deacons, committees, Sunday School teachers, music teams, choirs and Bible Study groups.

2.

Congregation: those who are sick/recovering, pregnant, looking for a job, students, professionals and those who are struggling in life.

3.

World: reconstruction in Gaza, peace between Russia and Ukraine, world political and economic stability in general.

4.

Country: Indonesia (President Prabowo & his cabinet) and the U.S. (political, social & economic stability).
